The Newsletter is a Hit!

Well, our first attempt at going digital seems to have worked! We are so pleased so many of you have read the newsletter that we sent out last week. The website has been inindated with users (guess I should get those pictures and videos up). I would like to personally thank everyone for all their kind words about the new website layout. I have been working very hard on it and I am so happy that so many people have found it to be so helpful.
Those who have signed up for our newsletter can look forward to another edition in their e-mail box this Friday!
Remember to post your best pet pictures to Facebook and who knows your pet may be in the next newsletter for everyone to meet!
Enjoy the warm weather coming this week!

Precious Furs Pet Resort Hits the web!

Our very own business manager, Tracy has been working very hard the past few months to get our website updated with new pictures, information and style! It is still a work in progress, but we are very pleased with the results thus far. We are looking forward to adding videos of playtimes as well as some instructional videos by Lynn (our owner and Certified Master Groomer).
We are also sending out Newsletters now! These will include articles about upcoming events here at the resort, "Ask the Groomer", fun stories from our clients, and COUPONS! Are you on our mailing list? If not send us your e-mail address and we will get you on. pfpr@charter.net
Monthly classes
As we put on facebook, we are planning on starting monthly events and classes in March. So far we have been asked for classes on pet upkeep between groomings, agility, socialization, training tips, and information about how to choose the best food for your pet. Do you have an idea? E-mail us at pfpr@charter.net and tell us about!

Keep those pets safe in this New England weather

Obviously we are getting hit by another batch of lovely New England weather. That being said, it is important to make sure your pets are safe when it comes time for puppy to head out to do his necessary business. What seems like a fun run up the snow bank can quickly turn into you franticly digging to try to find him after he sunk through. Also keep in mind that the ice under the snow from the last storm can be very sharp on paws, so it is best to keep one area clear so puppy has a safe place to be when he or she is outside in this winter wounderland! Let's make the best of a snowy situation for our for legged family members.

NEPGP Weekend

Lynn and Tracy have returned from another great weekend of seminars, competitions and a trade show with the New England Pet Grooming Professionals (NEPGP). They spent the weekend in Warwick , RI learning the newest tricks of the trade and seeing the latest clips and everything the pet industry has to offer. Lynn is also a member of the Cat Grooming Association of America now. She will be working toward becoming certified in cat grooming. As you all know Lynn has already become a Nationally Certified Master Groomer through the National Dog Groomers Association of America (many years ago). Becoming a certified groomer is NOT a requirement. Anyone can pick up a pair of scissors and say they are a professional groomer. Professional simply means you get paid for what you do. So it should be a great comfort to know that your groomer, even after over 35 years is still pressing forward in the industry and bettering herself and her business by becoming certified in yet another aspect of the industry. As always a special thank you to Danielle and Paulette for overseeing the resort while Lynn and Tracy were out of town!
